Thessaloniki International Airport
The new extension of the Thessaloniki Airport “Macedonia” was constructed in 2020. The project included the reorganization of the airport apron area ed, the refurbishment of the airside pavement and the construction of a new fire station, as well as thw expansion of the terminal station from 25,000 m2 to 57,000 m2. Check-in stations increased by 47%, baggage zones by 75% and the number of departure gates by 50%.
